Titanic Exhibit

On Saturday April 14 a Titanic lecture and exhibit was held at the Manistee Public Library. And hats from The Vintage Hat Shop were a part of the extravaganza!
Upon entering the exhibit area authentic violin music was being played by Sam R. --eerily beautiful.

Carol, wearing an authentic 1910s hat, gave a short talk about the ongoing fascination with the legend of the grand Titanic and the phenomenon of the ship of dreams.

Mark, of the Manistee County Historical Museum talked of the Manistee connection to the Titanic and displayed a variety of items that were typical of the era.
Refreshments served included foods that would have been typical of first, second and third class travelers! Which ticket would have belonged to you?
