Vintage antique wedding crowns
Recently I went to two large antique shows. I found two lots of antique vintage wedding crowns! I rarely find these treasures and to find all these in one weekend-- you can believe that I was smiling ear to ear! I can only imagine the dresses that must have been a part of the bride's ensemble. Someone treasured each crown and now I hope another bride will find each crown special, too.

Vintage Bridal Gown Display
On Thursday we took a road trip up to the Benzie County Historical Museum located in Benzonia, Michigan.
The members of the Benzie Area Historical Society featured a vintage bridal show highlighting brides of local families. All of the dresses have some connection to community.
Dresses dated from the 1870s to 2010. Some of the dresses were worn by many members of the same family. One dress was worn by five brides. And it was still in perfect condition!! Wedding Day stories were shared and tea was served during the presentation.
A thank you is due to the museum volunteers and the families that shared the dresses that were worn on the special day. A memorable and thought provoking display done with class and style.

Vintage bridal hats
Recently one of my customers sent me a photo of the bridal hat that she had purchased from The Vintage Hat Shop. When she said it was perfect, she was correct. She was beautiful!! I thought this might be a good time to take a peek at other vintage bride hats now available.
