Recently I sold 2 hats that both had feathers. I wanted them to stay secure in the box and not move when jostled by USPS.
After weighing many options I came up with this solution:
I cut a piece of one inch thick left-over insulation the same size as the Priority box, covered it in tissue paper and fit it into the bottom of the box.
I carefully pinned the hats in place using hatpins. They were secure and arrived safely! Whew. That shipping dilemma solved!
