Picture Hat featured in Sammy Davis Vintage!

Maybe folks get featured in others' blogs all the time and it isn't a big deal. Well, when I get noticed it is certainly a Hoop-la!  Sammy Davis Vintage of NYC featured my 1940s straw picture hat this week.

 Not only is this hat a classic style of the 40s, it is New Old Stock. The original price tag is still attached. It came out of a store that had been closed up for years. I picked it up from a dealer who had consigned to purchase all hats and "ladies wear".  Twas a happy day for us all!
