1920s/1930s Straw boater hat

Oh, the thrill of the hunt! I went to an estate sale this past weekend and found matching treasures.

1930s/1920s straw boater hat. J. L. Hudson Co.

I also found sheet music-- "What Can I Say After I Say I'm Sorry?"

The straw boater is a similar match to the hat being worn by the gal in the photo. A perfect find!

The hat will be in the shop as soon as I get it "spiffed up" and photographed.

If you get a chance to see the movie "Genius" starring Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Laura Linney be on the lookout for these hats. They were purchased from The Vintage Hat Shop in August 2014 by the costume designer.
